U.S. Wind Industry Installations Sharply Up Through Third Quarter 2012
In results reported by the American Wind Energy Association on October 17, the U.S. wind industry saw installations rise 40% during the first three quarters of 2012 compared to the first three quarters of 2011. The third quarter posted a 52% increase compared to the same quarter in 2011. At least 40 utilities have projects currently online through the third quarter of 2012.
