Finguerra-DuCharme Chats With Bloomberg Law About New USPTO Requirements

Recently, the United States Trademark Office ("USPTO") announced changes to the trademark rules of practice which now include the inclusion of a client-specific email address. Partner Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme spoke with Bloomberg Law about the changes. In the piece, Finguerra-DuCharme considers the new email requirement and is quoted saying:

"It's puzzling to me. I don't understand why they thought this was necessary," she said. "It's just something for nefarious actors to skirt around, and that will cause headaches for trademark owners."
