Linda Johnson Appointed To The New Hampshire Nonpublic School Advisory Council

February 20, 2012, Manchester, New Hampshire, and Woburn, Massachusetts – The McLane Law Firm is pleased to announce that Attorney Linda Johnson was recently appointed by New Hampshire's Commissioner of Education to serve on the New Hampshire Nonpublic School Advisory Council.

The Nonpublic School Advisory Council, ("NPSAC"), performs duties assigned by the New Hampshire State Board of Education related to nonpublic schools, to help maintain effective communications between the Department of Education and nonpublic schools, and to raise issues of concern to nonpublic schools in the state. The Council consists of 21 members, 17 are appointed by the Commissioner of Education, 3 by the Commissioner of Health and Human Services and 1 by the State Fire Marshal.

As Co-Chair of the McLane's Education Law Group, Linda represents the overall interests of many private elementary and high schools, colleges, and the largest independent academy in the United States. She also provides consultation services to public schools and school districts in the areas of harassment, hazing, bullying and abuse prevention and responses.
